Original artwork description:

Another of my song-based titles that has very little to do with the original song! This location on Hove seafront is barely five minutes walk from my home and this is one of a series of pictures all set in my immediate environment. The series was originally inspired from my paintings of night time Venice and was prompted by the realisation one evening as I was walking along the seafront that I had an interesting and potentially surreal subject to paint virtually on my doorstep.

Materials used:

Oil on mdf board, gessoed on both sides.
