This is the third cast of five, each cast is treated and finished differently. All sculptures have a different patina and base which ultimately forms an integral part of the HERCYN sculpture.
As in HERCYN I, the sculpture body, it is a feeling when you stand still and something hits you, maybe good or bad news, maybe some energy, mass, element like wind, water, hot... But this time, Hercyn III sculpture was made of brass and black Swedish granite. Another my test of color and form. Warm colors geometrically cut in contrast with the carving, what I am looking for, a combination of integration...
