Original artwork description:

This could only be France! This lovely 'rustic' scene was spotted while I was cycling (somewhere in the Dordogne) I had to stop, I especially loved the hens scratching outside the front door and the washing on the line!
Painted over a gesso-prepared board using a selection of muted greens, mauves and rust coloured glazes of acrylic paint.
