Bright and glittering word “КУРЫ” (“HENS”) seem to be in contrast with this crowd of angry looking birds. The surreal feel is added by the plain pink background. In this ironic artwork Inga is playing with formal and informal meanings of the word “hens”. At first glance you see what you read, but please pay closer attention at the facial expressions of those chicks… In most Slavic languages, one of the informal meanings of the word “hen” is very close to its English equivalent, maybe even a bit more offensive – “usually middle-aged or older woman, especially one who is considered to be petty or gossipy”.

The artwork is ready to hang. The artwork will be shipped securely packed in a box. Certificate of Authenticity is included.
