Original artwork description:

This, of course, is a portrait of Ernest Hemmingway. I found a digital copy of the last two pages of "The Sun Also Rises" in Hemmingway's own handwriting,.and had it reproduced and laminated to the back of architectural drafting mylar. I then painted the portrait of the author over the background.
HEMMINGWAY is painted on 4 mil. archival grade drafting mylar . The mylar is tough, waterproof, inert, flexible, dimensionally stable, and it does not have to be stretched, like canvas and watercolor paper. The painting is produced using India ink and acrylic paint. I only sell original work so there will only be one original. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
This painting will be ready to hang, out of the box. It will be mounted on tempered masonite with a two inch wide painted border. It will have a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.
