Original artwork description:

Climate change is upon us. There's no time to lose, we have to transform our civilization in order to preserve the world as we know it. Yet, those who hold power often wield it to accelerate the destruction already in course. This painting is my take on one of the most crucial places where this destruction is taking place, the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil, my country, and the role that our armed forces have in the history of such destruction.
