Painted from a life drawing session, this is in oil sketch on canvas completed in one sitting, with loose and expressive brush marks. I found this pose really beautiful, very feminine. It reminds me somewhat of The Little Mermaid sculpture in Copenhagen.
I painted this in oils is on standard depth canvas and the piece can be hung as is, but would benefit from a frame to set the painting off.
