Now Sold: If you are interested in ordering a commission of this painting, please contact me to create you a custom order. "Heirloom" is a very large abstract artwork on canvas. Deeply textured and vibrant. This artwork was created in layers of intense colour which are allowed to pool in areas to create a real depth of colour. Multiple bright colours are washed and glazed over the texture in many applications in my signature style.
As I worked on this painting, it reminded me of a home-made blanket that had been lovingly crafted by an old Aunty or Granny and then passed down through the generations of the family.
