The power animal squirrel come into your life, it wants to bring you more joy and lightness of life. It helps you to stop mourning the past, to look forward and to jump back into life. The squirrel inspires you to turn dreams into reality and plans into action.

This artwork came to life in Vantaa (Finland) within my Artist in Residency at Gjutars Arist House. The work shows cheeky squirrel that stole food from me.

The topic of “connectedness” plays a central role in my work as an artist. Be it the connection to oneself, to others, to nature or generally to the environment that surrounds us. Basically everything is connected, I try to convey that in my works and therefore create the motives of my drawings by one connected line.
