“You turn” is an imaginative etching expressing aspects of our changing every-day life situation during autumn and winter 2020/21.
It reminds of an abstract landscape, but with a crazy red track running away with life. It’s next turn could go into any direction. It is unpredictable and might take over the calmer and stable landscape that lays behind.
To me, this image express a climate of confusion and uncertainty, but also movement and the chance for positive changes.
"You turn" is printed from 3 etching plates.
Each print is an original impression taken from the inked up etching plates, hand printed by me on acid free fine art printing paper in my studio in Brighton. The image size is 35cm x 35cm with a paper margin of 8cm all around.
