Prints in the series "Beyond Yellow" are imaginative landscapes. The yellow land in the foreground is dominated by the large shape looming. It is an image inviting your mind to escape into the blue shape and wonder through this abstract land.
These etchings have been created along side the”Beyond Blue”series in the spring 2021 as continuation from my earlier “Blue Day” mono print series.

We all experienced our environment in a different way through the global lock down periods. And many of us were walking through our neighbourhoods and parks more often and explored local nature reserves. Long walks allow my mind to wonder, reflect and day dream. These abstract prints are somewhat a reflection of my experience during the lock down periods.

The etchings are hand printed from 2 etching plates by me in my studio in Brighton, UK. Each images of the series differs slightly. The one pictured here is "Beyond Yellow" no.1. The image size is 35cm x35cm, with a paper margin of 8ch all around.
