Original artwork description:

This is a textured and multi-layered painting, inspired by the landscape around a favourite section of Offa's Dyke, close to my home on the Shropshire / Wales border, based on sketches made in summer 2019 and memories of countless runs and walks there over many years..

I used principally acrylics, oil pastels, Inktense sticks, charcoal and pencil, and also layered, partially removed and cut into the work to create a textured and weathered feel to the painting. The painting is on a deep-edge canvas, measuring 20x20x3.5 cm.
