Artwork description:

Colour field inspired image of the deep navy blue tones in the Atlantic Ocean that merges into the brilliant teal and turquoise of the water around the Isle of Lewis.

Mesmerising teal blue and navy colour field inspired work. This was made as a single image in camera using subtle movements of the camera to smooth out all features other than the sea and the sky. Made on a deserted beach on the remote Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides on a late September evening when the sky had darkened on the horizon.

This is one of those images that I could look at forever and not get tired or really ever understand it, it seems to have endless depth and mystery. I love the fabulous mineral colours of these ancient islands.

Printed on exquisite Baryta Matte Fine Art Paper that is that enhances intense colours, is non-reflective from any angle and can be hung without glass protection which is helpful with very large prints.

The image size is 68 x 24 inches (170 x 60cm), a perfect size for above a large sofa. It has a 2 inches border for handling

Bespoke sizes and paper fine art prints also available on request.

Materials used:

Fine Art Baryta Matte Paper and Non-Fade Inks
