Artwork description:

This colourful blue and turquoise abstract image of the ocean around the Isle of Harris is presented as a wide panorama on canvas.

If ever there was a place to go far away from the world where you could sit and just listen to the waves as they roll in, this is it. At four in the morning in Summer just as the sun was rising, the front edge of light was catching the water as I sat on the edge of Luskentyre Beach.

Printed at 72 x 24 inches with a 2 inches white border all round for the framer to stretch over the sides of your frame. This size is perfect for above the sofa or over the bed.

For these special small editions of my work I use Canson Fine Art Canvas. Canson are one of the oldest paper manufacturers in the world, they have been making paper and canvas for over 450 years in France. Founded in 1557 and printers to Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, Canson has the choice of many famous artists such as Picasso, Ingres, Chagal and Miro to name but a few. Canson are Eco Friendly - they purchase paper pulp only from forests managed in a sustainable way which also makes them pretty special.
