Inspired by the beautiful Outer Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland where the colours of the sea and sky take on a Caribbean blue and the pale sands stretch away. Fringed with the local machair - the wild flowers that grow out of the sand each spring. This painting is acrylic on canvas, built up in layers, with some texture to the rocks and flowers. The sides are painted white, it's varnished, strung on the back and ready to hang. It measures 50cm x 50cm x 4cm so is big enough to make a statement on your wall. I've signed the back and it will be sent with a signed certificate of authenticity. Please let me know if you'd like it signed on the front and I'll be happy to oblige.
