Original artwork description:

I've recently had a month away from painting, which is a very long time for me. I sold my house of 17 years and relocated to North Oxfordshire. After the move I have been on a holiday/adventure in a motorhome across the outer Hebrides. This involved a car journey, a flight and 4 ferry rides! I didn't see any Orcas but I did see a glut of wildlife including sunbathing seals, Gannets diving in the sea like torpedos, Sea Eagles, Corncrakes, highland cattle and sheep with horns. The other thing I was absolutely amazed with was the colour of the sea and the white sandy beaches, not something to expect in the most Westerly and point of Europe (In the North too )
I am now bursting with ideas and excited to be painting again. My new studio is not ready yet, so I am painting in a temporary space. One thing for sure in life is change. I am excited for my new chapter.
