Original artwork description:

Dark and light with multi layers of paint, fabric, canvas and paper. A very expressive and raw abstract. It was done with acrylic and mixed media on heavy paper ready to be framed. It is signed on the front and back along with the title and date created.

I name my pieces by what occurred while painting the piece. What moved me, what struggles had to be overcome, my mood, my train of thought, what the piece reminded me of, sometimes a song that was on and the beat moved me or the lyrics influenced me in some way. Some pieces are named clearly with a bit of humor. I never intentionally start out a painting saying “I’m going to do this, or I’m going to do that”. All of my pieces morph into something that is totally surprising and unexpected.

*PLEASE NOTE* - If buyer is overseas, this piece will be removed from the stretcher bars and shipped rolled in a tube to save on shipping expenses. Thanks for your understanding.
