Original artwork description:

HEATWAVE

102 x 65 cm OIL on canvas.

I mixed this stunning colour and instantly thought of summer. Easily done, when it's cold and frosty outside!
I have a passion for abstract art, when painting it's a state of mind that's achieved and not fully understood. In this painting I lost myself into a surreal world and the results are very exciting.

I am deeply influenced by colour theory, and the spirituality of art. The first mark I make on the canvas begins to inform the progress. I build the composition in layers of paint until I create the whole. Only then does the painting reach a conclusion.

TECHNICAL
The painting will be shipped rolled with care, in a sturdy package for safe arrival and will require stretching before hanging.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The measurement shown are the Size of the actual canvas. A 3cm edge is left white, for turning around the back of narrow profile stretcher bars. This enables wrapping around the bars and allows the image to continue on the sides. The the final painting will measure slightly smaller than 102 x 65 cm.

The stretched painting could also be housed in a floater frame.
This is a good quality canvas and could also be attached to board and framed under glass.
All these options are available at your local framers.
