Original artwork description:
The title evokes both the subject of the work, which is obviously very hot, and the circumstances in which I produced it.
For ten days or so, there was a heatwave in my region, preventing me from leaving the house and therefore the studio between midday and evening.
Sometimes forced labour is a good thing, and it was by taking inspiration from several photos of Lidia Savoderova taken by Ivan Ustinov that I was able to create this composition, with the photographer's permission of course.
A young woman is standing against the light, leaning against a wall, completely naked except for a blouse that she is holding up over her stomach.
The light comes from an open door to the right of the picture.
