Original artwork description:

A typical healthland view in late summer, rich in the colours of heather and gorse with a pathway leading the eye through the landscape towards a cerulean sky. This is an impasto painting with thickly textured paint which lends a 3D quality and vivid colour to the painting. Inspiration came from Finchampstead Ridges in the Berkshire/Hampshire borders but this view could be Dulwich or any one of a number of typical healthland locations at their most vibrant time of year. Unframed with painted sides ready to hang or can be framed if preferred, example shown.
