This is a completely unique and original abstract oil painting on wood. This painting is one of a new series of exciting works that epitomize certain techniques and an aesthetic I have been working to perfect over the years. The streaking colors are vibrant and alive and the subtle layers which exist on the surface give the appearance of objects floating or drifting like fluffy clouds amidst blue skies over a beautiful ocean at sunset. The paint and vibrant colors shine and shimmer like the surface of the sea reflecting at sunset, where a beautiful bold red emerges in the middle of the deep blue waters. The colors streak, mix and overlap on the surface to create a beautiful play of color and light. Texture also exists on the edges of the piece to give added depth and the painting was painted on a unique irregular shaped piece of recycled wood. This is a softer, calming painting that is filled with harmony and peace. It is truly an original oil painting and series like no other.

Note: This painting is painted on reclaimed wood and comes hang ready with the edges painted black. Framing is up to the preference of the collector.
