Original artwork description:

Food for the Soul. My inspiration to start painting these series of fruits and vegetables is health. The first one was the heart of an artichoke, I was preparing lunch ready to wash this delicious veggie when I thought "I'll cut it in half, want to see the inside before is cooked "the inside is what counts" anyway , when I saw the beautiful heart I just had to paint it!! Also it symbolizes PEACE
