This piece in oils and sand on heavy weave jute canvas on panel depicts a seascape with a headland receding into the distance under a summer sky. The bold impasto marks give the painting a dynamism and energy within an overall air of tranquility and peacefulness.

The piece is painted using Winsor and Newton Artists's series and Old Holland oils and mediums with the highest ratings of light fastness and permanence, on a fully archival jute canvas panel, measuring 20 cm by 30 cm. which will fit many off-the- shelf frames. The fine grain sand is permanently affixed to the canvas by the binding in the oil paints.

The painting will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and despatched by signed for and fully tracked courier. It is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

All paintings are unframed unless otherwise stated.

I endeavour to estimate shipping charges as accurately as possible. In the event of overcharging, I will refund the difference through Artfinder, and will bear the cost of any undercharging myself.

Outside of the UK and America there may be local duty / tax. If so, this is payable by the collector prior to delivery - the postal service/courier for your country will request payment if any is due. VAT on art imports is usually at a reduced rate compared with general VAT ratings.
