Original artwork description:

This picture was drawn on a very hazy morning in the port city of Koashuing in southern Taiwan. This port city is well known for having many factories around it and unfortunately suffers from the worst pollution and air quality in the country. On a clear day it is very easy to see the peninsula of Qijing just across the port ,but on this day the air pollution made it look like a grey misty shadow. Aesthetically, the haziness creates interesting views, and I did enjoy drawing the scene with the contrasting mist in the distance and clearer closer buildings, but unfortunately it is not healthy!

Materials used:

Oil Pastel on 160gsm Black Paper
