Original artwork description:

This is an Oil Pastel drawing of some of the beautiful rice fields in Dongshan Township in Yilan, Taiwan. It was done “en plein air” on the hot and hazy afternoon we arrived at this special place, luckily the spot I was drawing from was covered. Taiwan is a mountainous sub-tropical island in east Asia with incredible natural beauty and I particularly love the aspects that are inherently different to my homeland of England. I love the visual impact of the whole rice growing process, from the water filled seed-laden barren looking fields, to the yellows and greens of the pre-harvest crops. I was very excited to have this chance to draw these rice fields so close up!
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver to every country at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
