Artwork description:

his artwork is screen printed on thread. It is already fixed in an "invisible" framed structure (see images) but can be framed.

The artwork is part of a project 'Landscape and Memory' that explores the common link in human attachment to landscape and how we find identity in landscape and place.

Exploring the parallels of the landscape, as the embodied mind and memory, and landscape as a physical place. Exploring landscape as the work of the mind. Its scenery is built up as much from strata of memory as from layers of rock.

Playing with the combination of digital photography and technology with traditional practices such as textiles and screen printing.

Materials used:

Thread, Screen print paint, Wood
