As the fields change from green to the golden colors of autumn. As the night grow cooler, yet the days stay hot and dry. As the season changes, ushering in the time of harvest. Since we first started to till the ground, many hopes and livelihoods have rested on the harvest. For the great plains it is a spiritual awakening. The awareness that we all depend on the gifts given.
