The unmistakeable outline of Harrison Stickle above Great Langdale in the Lake District. It forms one of the three fells which make up the Langdale Pikes.
I have been revisiting my photos taken a few years back when we hiked to the top.
The painting is an impressionistic work of the view down the approach track. A cluster of little white cottages at the end of the road and layers of rock and windswept vegetation dissected with dry stone walls.
The painting is multi media including some collage elements and is supplied in a white mount with a deep purple inset mount. It will fit a frame size 50cm x 50cm.
