Original artwork description:

Description of the artwork:

Although it is an abstract painting, the viewer feels the balance and harmony of a Zen garden and discovers its four elements: stone, moss, water and tree, which are found in symbolic form.
- The stones that remind animals, and that are part of nature.
- The moss that symbolizes age, which in Japan also means honour.
- The water, which represents the sea and
- the trees, which symbolize life.

The painting invites you to take a closer look, to immerse yourself in the world of Zen and to meditate.

To highlight these feelings, natural tones like red, orange, brown, light blue, green and ocher disappear behind a white veil, which in turn lets these colours emerge in some places again. A game between the visible and the hidden. A harmony between the real and the barely recognizable that stimulates the imagination.

It has multilayers of acrylic paint on canvas that where sandpapered again and again, so that a smooth surface was created, that partially reveals the lower layers that are part of the visible story now.

The canvas is stretched over professionally made stretcher bars.

The artwork is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity by the artist.

Sides are painted so it is ready to hang.

It will be shipped stretched in a cardboard box.
