I created this impressionistic oil painting from a photograph taken in New Harmony, IN. I had passed over this photo many times but, after studying the work of Emile Gruppe, I was inspired to give it a try with his influence. There is a lot of broken color in this painting and loose brush strokes. This painting is beautifully framed in heavy wooden frame. This Antique Black frame is made with an undertone of gold and a distinctive antique gold liner. It is ready to hang on the wall of it's new owner.
