Original artwork description:

I liked this hare sat absolutely still under the light of the moon. Hopefully I've captured some of the magic that surrounds these beautiful creatures. I've layered the starry night sky and the field with a range of grey blues, gold sparkles, white detail and silver thread.

I start the canvas with a rough pencil sketch and then I add the coloured paper before building up the layers with acrylic paint. The last thing I add are the embellishments of thread, beads, buttons and glitter to pick out or highlight certain areas.
