Original artwork description:

This happy hare was great to collage amongst the poppy flowers. I used coloured and patterned paper in the background for this canvas and blended it with blue and green paint for the sky and field.

I start the canvas with a rough pencil sketch and then I add the coloured paper before building up the layers with acrylic paint. The last thing I add are the embellishments of thread, beads, buttons and glitter to pick out or highlight certain areas.
