Original artwork description:

There's something magical about the Hare. I hope I've captured some of that magic in this mixed media canvas. I've layered the starry night sky and the field with a range of blues, silver and white.

I start the canvas with a rough pencil sketch and then I add the coloured paper before building up the layers with acrylic paint. The last thing I add are the embellishments of thread, beads, buttons and glitter to pick out or highlight certain areas.
