Artwork description:

a Spring Hare, and bluebells, and that other spring sign, a tractor in the fields.
This is a large reduction linocut with 5 colors, reduction means that as I print the colors and sculpt the plate, I cut away the lino as I go along, leaving a lino plate I can't print more from, so there are only 10 prints.
Reduction lino is quite a difficult process as you have to register, that is, line up the plate and paper every single time you print, and with 5 colors, this amounts to a lot of patience!
All my linocuts are handprinted by me, the artist, and I sign, title and number each print.

SIZE: The linocut itself measures 18.5" x 12", (47cm x 30cm )
and the beautiful piece of warm
white paper measures 21" x 15", (54cm x 38cm)
Linocuts are wonderful graphic pieces of printmaking, that can make for a real focal point in your room, you are so welcome to ask me about framing advice etc.
