'Hare' woodblock print, 2016

Printed from an oak block with a strong side grain so you get the print of the wood grain along with the carved parts of the block. This piece takes inspiration from traditional Japanese woodblock printing, but gives it a contemporary twist.

For each print the block is inked up with a roller, the paper laid on top then burnished with a barren, making them all original, so each print may differ slightly from the photo.
