Original artwork description:

This rather dark and foreboding piece is done in india ink on drafting mylar. The background image (old service station and car) was preprinted and laminated to the back of the mylar and then the trumpet man was drawn in ink with a little white acrylic paint.

HARD TIMES FOR A JAZZMAN is drawn and painted on 4 mil. archival grade drafting mylar . This material is tough, waterproof, inert, flexible, dimensionally stable, and it does not have to be stretched, like canvas and watercolor paper. The painting is produced using India ink and acrylic paint. I only sell original work so there will only be one original and no authorized copies will ever be made. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
This painting will be shipped in a tube. The artwork is very easy to mount on any type of board: plywood, masonite, foamboard, etc. I include simple mounting instructions with each piece that I sell and also I include a hanging strip and a drywall hanging device. Everything that you need to mount your painting except the board.
