Original artwork description:

Every picture I create begins life as a pile of magazines which would otherwise be destined for the recycle bin. (I swap eggs from my chickens for magazines from neighbours!) I find inspiration in the colours on the pages I find and that is often the starting piece for a picture. Just using a pair of scissors I cut or rip intricate shapes and pieces form the recycled papers and then layer them to create a canvas painted with papers.

I love colour and try to use a range of bright and fun colours in all my work, which sells all over the world and is seen as something a big different. The inspiration for this picture came from a visit to Wales, where my Grandmother's family were from, the harbour we visited was so colourful and bright.

This picture comes beautifully mounted with a high quality picture mount and in a picture cello bag and is frame ready (Fits standard off the shelf frames).

Materials used:

print is on high quality photographic paper, orginal art work is recycled papers on backing board
