Blakeney Harbour at sunset.

Sometimes a sunset can be a gentle affair, and then other evenings it's an explosion of colour so violent you might think Krakatoa has erupted and the sky is full of flame and molten rock.
This evening was so beautiful, you could see the yacht masts in the distance reaching up to the sky, almost engulfed in the sunset. It was one of those occasions when you just don't want to go inside and finish the day.

I used an awful lot of paint to give this scene the full impact and painted round the sides so it is ready to hang.
