Every day I walk the dog along this part of Tiverton Canal in Devon. I never get bored of it. It always looks different. This painting shows the reflections of the trees in the water, which fascinates me. This oil painting has been created over a number of days layering paint and letting it dry until adding another layer, using all sorts of different tools to create marks. The painting is on a block canvas. The sides are painted a dark grey. It can be hung as it is or framed if required.

Oils, cold wax, linseed oil.
