The Naughty, and happy, Princess, away in dreamland, all warm and relaxed!

A black and white linocut, can be deceptive in its simplicity, as the artist you have to think first in reverse and second, about the image working, what is going to be white, and what is going to be black, not as easy as we are all so used to all the grey areas in between!
I have inked my princess with a charcoal black water based ink on a lovely crisp white heavy printmaking paper, I really pride myself on the quality of the papers and inks I work with, to give you the best possible printmaking experience!
For each and every print the lino has to be inked up again. If you would like to see more about printmaking, have a look in the "me at work" section here in my shop, i have several printmaking films there.

The Happy Princess is printed in a short edition of 50 prints, it is signed, numbered and titled. Please be aware that may not receive the number in the photo.

The size of this print is 46 cm x 58 cm (18" x 23")
And the printmaking paper measures 56 cm x 68 cm (22" x 27")
It fits right into a standard frame.
