This figure has a powerful and optimistic stance, hence the title! Her surface is multi-layered and multi-textured and she seems to dance for joy. The energetic marks of the blue slip dance across her dynamic rhythmic form and install a feeling of well-being. A happy woman!
She is built hollow in coiled paperclay and fired to stoneware temperatures s she could dance in the garden as well as in the house. She will need a crate for transport, which I can easily organise.
