This piece is a colorful, whimsical reflection of the Farming Community in Oregon where I was born. When I visit Hillsboro, one of my oldest friends drives me around to visit many of the Farms. Charming, Rustic Barns identify the various Properties, each one with its own character. Hillsides covered in Lush Color, are everywhere. In this painting I’ve opted for more decorative, looser, less specific way of decorating some of the Hillsides. Using Acrylic Pens that I’ve recently become so fond of, adds a more illustrative quality to the overall piece. This canvas is painted around the edges so it can be hung unframed if preferred.
