Original artwork description:

Spring Time in the woods near where I live is so beautiful, especially in the late Spring when the bluebells come out. The whole atmosphere is magical. I hope I've achieved the some of this in my painting, Happiness is a Spring Day. I've layered the oil paint on the canvas over a few days waiting until each layer dries. I've worked quickly keeping the mark making energetic and lively and the colours bright. Hope it makes you happy!
