Title : Hannibal #2
Project Description
My work is inspired by the movie The Silence of the Lambs and the character of Dr. Hannibal Lecter. I wanted to capture the atmosphere of mystery and psychological tension that surrounds him, using the technique of acrylic on canvas.
I focused particularly on his face, trying to highlight his coldness and intellectual superiority through the gaze and the shadows. The choice of colors is dark and dramatic, enhancing the sense of threat.
Thoughts and Project Goal
With this painting, I wanted to capture the dual nature of Hannibal Lecter: on the one hand, a cool, intelligent doctor, and on the other, a ruthless killer. Through the details and the contrasts of light and shadow, I sought to convey the atmosphere of tension and fear that he causes.
Conclusion
This work is not simply a depiction of a cinematic character, but an attempt to convey his psychology and imposingness. I wanted the viewer to feel this dark charm and the underlying threat that characterizes him.
The work comes rolled in tube for safety reasons and you can stretch it at any local framer or art shop.
The painting is original and signed by me on the back and front .
Thank you,Dimitris Pavlopoulos
