With a semi-abstract painting, where the artist is including a recognizable figure with pure abstract forms and color, the problem is always to mate the two in a way that makes both components compatable. Here I am using the female figure, the clock and the text as a departure point, leading to the less definitive shapes and colors of the bulk of the painting. I have kept most of this painting within a pallet of warm, earthy colors while making the dress a highly contrasting red.
HANNAH'S SECRET is a one-of-a-kind, original work of art. It is produced using acrylic paint and India ink. I have stayed with my usual pallet of warm “earthy” colors. The clock was printed on photo paper and laminated to the back of the translucent mylar. I only sell original work so there will only be one original. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. Because of its large size, this painting will be shipped in a tube. The artwork is very easy to mount on any type of board: plywood, masonite, foamboard, etc. I include simple mounting instructions with each piece that I sell and also I include mounting tape, a hanging strip and a drywall hanging device. Everything that you need to mount your painting except the board.

If you prefer, I will mount the artwork on ½ inch foamboard with a two inch border all around. It will be “ready to hang”, with a hanging strip attached to the back and a wall hanging device that is very simple to use. It will be shipped in a cardboard box. You may take it out of the box and have it hanging on your wall within five minutes. The extra charge is $50.00 for mounting and packaging plus the additional shipping costs, if any.
