A modern, abstract painting of the harbour. Colour combination and application and the textures in the paint capture well, in my opinion, the fascinating industrial landscape at the Landungsbrücken.
The Cap San Diego is a general cargo ship and current museum ship with berth at the Überseebrücke in the Port of Hamburg and belongs to the so-called first Cap San class. The ship was built in 1961 as a general cargo ship and was used in liner service with South America until the 1980s.
The motor ship Cap San Diego is the largest operational museum cargo ship in the world. It represented the pinnacle of mechanised cargo shipbuilding in Germany, with a maximum expression on board of most of the job profiles developed in cargo shipping.(Wikipedia)
The edges are painted, the painting can be hung without additional framing.
