From the series "In Defense of Daydreaming", in which I am exploring the use of photography to express poetic themes, 'Haiku of Grass and Sky' is a simple composition based on line and juxtaposition of two elements, like a haiku poem.

This black and white series of photographs is shot exclusively in black and white on very fine grain film, with an ancient but beloved TLR Rolleiflex camera. The film is then scanned and the final image assembled in the digital darkroom.

This artwork will be printed with a one inch white border unless otherwise requested.

Please note that artwork is supplied unmounted, but a mount cut to any size can also be supplied at a small additional cost. For certain works, different size requests can be accommodated. Please contact me for details.

All limited edition artworks now include an archival, signed limited edition label on the back of the print.

Your artwork will arrive wrapped in plenty of acid free tissue paper and rolled in a very sturdy postal tube.
