Original artwork description:

The iconic canal in the colourful neighbourhood of Hackney Wick..

This is a unique one-off handmade print where I paint onto a perspex sheet using rollers, card, brushes and cloth before printing it onto dampened paper using the etching press. Monotype is a technique I love because it is the most spontaneous and painterly printmaking process where you can create beautiful light effects and texture.

This will be carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue, flat-packed between board and shipped signed and tracked within 2 working days.

Materials used:

Somerset Velvet paper 300g, Intaglio inks, etching press
