A North Sea haar or sea mist rolls in over Start Island pushed on by a strong South-easterly breeze eventually shrouding the whole island in a cool clammy blanket. This is something that happens frequently in Orkney in certain weather conditions and often in the Spring and early summer...frustrating when the rest of the country appears to be basking in warm summer conditions.
