Artwork description:

Shellfish can be hard to break into. One solution - if you have wings - is to carry them high into the air and then drop them onto a hard surface, like the pebble beach at Whitstable. What amazed me was not just that the gulls have learned to do this but that they can find their prize amongst the millions of coloured stones which lie beneath them. In this photograph, a gull soars before dropping its catch, the bright conditions making a fast shutter speed possible.

Limited edition digital Giclée print on Epson archival paper.

Unless you have a specific request, I use the same frame and mount for all my photographs; whilst I have some framed works in stock, I print and frame most works to order, hence the photos of the frame are generic (please see additional images).

All prints are signed and certified on the back (see example picture in the additional images).

Please don't hesitate to send a message (via the Contact button) if you have any queries about this piece.
